Llangennech under 16's produce classy display

Llangennech travelled to Saron looking to build on the impressive performances of the their last few games.

 

Llangenench started quickly and Saron found themselves  1-0 down within the first  minute after quick thinking and a great cross from Callum Dawe found Fraser in the box to head the ball past a stunned Saron goalkeeper. Llangennech didnt let the tempo drop and the crowd were enjoying a fantastic passing display of football in the first half which reaped 10 goals. Tom Roberts scored 5, all well worked and a combination of headers and accurate shooting.

Goals from Callum, Jordan and Ross completed the scoring in the first half. The crossbar and the posts came to Sarons aid in six attempts as Dan Breddy smashed a powerful shot against the crossbar and the saron goale (who had a good game) was peppered with shots from all angles  by the llangenench midfield and strikers.

In the second half Saron came out with all guns blazing and were rewarded with a goal after a free kick was awarded just outside llangennechs box. Llanngennechs right back, Jo Rees was unlucky on his return from injury to see a long range shot hit with power just inside the Saron half beat the keeper but smashed into the crossbar to the relief of the saron players. The game however belonged to Llangennech and  a further 3 goals were scored by Tom, Fraser and Callum finished the game 13-1.

The Llangennech squad was rotated continuously throughout the game which  allowed every player to play his part in an excellent display from everyone.
