            A historic weekend lies ahead for Llangennech AFC as a third senior team will represent the club in a competitive fixture for the first time.


Llangennech ‘A’ vs FC Carmarthen Reserves, Friday 3rd September 6:15 PM

For the first time ever, Llangennech AFC has a third senior team. The team will be known as Llangennech ‘A’. In their first fixture, tonight, they will travel to Carmarthen to take on FC Carmarthen reserves, competing in the CAFL Reserve Division 3.

Having played 4 matches so far this season, FC Carmarthen have picked up nine points out of a possible twelve. Only losing to the top side in the division, Bwlch who have won all six of their matches at this stage.

A tough encounter lies ahead at Parc Myrddin this evening as the Llangennech side will be out looking to make history!


Llangennech vs Pwll, Saturday 4th September 2:30 PM

The first team host Pwll this Saturday at Llangennech Park, looking to bounce back from last Friday’s narrow defeat to Llandovery.

Before last week’s defeat, Nathan Mcauley’s side had won their last three matches and were undefeated in four and will be looking to return to winning ways this Saturday.

Pwll meanwhile have played three matches so far this season, winning once and losing on the other two occasions. Having beaten Johnstown 5-1 and narrowly losing to both Camford and Abergwili.

With both sides keen to avenge recent results, it’s set to be a close affair at Llangennech park this Saturday!
