Tough times for U10s

Saturday 11th October 2008

Llangennech lost for the second time to an Ammanford side, this time it was away in the very picturesque town of Ammanford. As for the game versus Ammanford whites it was another tough game against a very competent Blacks side whose passing and movement was to be honest superb, add to that good finishing make the Blacks quite a handful. However we battled well and Alisha and Eray scored two very good goals following good work in midfield by Liam Jones, Peter, Dylan, Jack G  and Dafydd. Good and brave goal keeping from Tegan and Ben allied to a very good defensive display from Liam Fry  (which earned him the mom nomination from the home coach) helped to keep the score down. Once more our ladies did us proud Tegan, Bethan, Catrin and Alisha all turned in good efforts. In all a very tough match for us but I was impressed by the way we kept on fighting for that second goal towards the end. We are making progress and as long as we learn from teams like Ammanford Blacks/whites then we will continue to improve well done all concerned.
