Carmarthenshire Council Buy MOD Land

Carmarthenshire County Council has secured the purchase of the 37 acre ex site of the MOD in Llangennech bringing a new football pitch for the village a step nearer.

A section of the land is due to be donated to the Llangennech Community Council to build a much needed football pitch for the village.

The large remainder of the area looks like being sold to a private developer from which it is hoped 400 new jobs will be created in the area.
