Under 14s 9 Hendy 13s 4

Llangennech Under 14's recorded a win in the first ever 11 a-side match held at Llangennech Junior School this morning.  Hendy provided the opposition and made a great game of it, with the final score 9-4 to Llan.

Team:  Josh Watkins, Sean Hughes-Jackman, Joshua Evans, Callum Jenkins, Mark Evans, Kieran Partridge, Steffan Edwards, Nathan Baker, Rhys Evans, Corrie Jenkins, Jordan Davies.  Subs:  Jordan Frampton, Dafydd Green, Ben Wakely, Corrie Morris, Steffan Lund, Iwan Hicks.

After going a goal down early on, Corrie Jenkins scored to bring Llan back level and the Steffan Edwards strike put them into the lead, but Hendy pulled a goal back to end an entertaining first half 2-2.

Right at the start of the second half, Hendy took the lead with Llan switching off from their own kick off.  But it didn't take long for Llan to take a grip on the game with Corrie Jenkins scoring four, Jordan Davies grabbing a brace and Rhys Evans completing Llangennech's scoring.

Hendy did pull another goal back before the end and played a big part in an excellent game.
