Hendy 4 Under 14's 5

Team:  Josh Watkins, Josh Evans, Sean Hughes-Jackman, Callum Jenkins, Mark Evans, Jordan Frampton, Steffan Lund, Steffan Edwards, Dafydd Green, Jordan Saunders, Corrie Jenkins.  Sub:  Ben Wakely.

A lack of effort and shape saw us go behind twice in the first half, but thankfully some excellent finishing from Corrie Jenkins  and Jordan Saunders saw us go in level at the break.

A brighter start to the second half sent us 5-2 up with Jordan Saunders scoring with a fine volley from the edge of the box, Steffan Edwards getting the final touch in a goal mouth scramble and Corrie Jenkins providing another good finish for his second goal.

With a three goal cushion the Llan players seemed to think the game was won and went back to showing the same lack of effort that they had shown in the first half.  This allowed Hendy to claw two goals back and almost levelled with the last kick of the game.

Effort levels must improve by the next game!
