Llangennech 0-0 Loughor

Squad: Josh Watkins, Kieran Partridge, Jordan Saunders, Bradley Hilier, Aaron Thomas, Dafydd Green, Sean Brinn-Davies, Jordan Frampton, Jack Evans, Jordan Davies, Lloyd Haines, Aaron Thomas, Steffan Edwards, Josh Evans, Mark Evans, Callum Jenkins.

Despite not playing very well in this match, Llangennech managed to earn a good point vs Loughor. Llan struggled with the ball and failed to create many chances as they lacked a cutting edge going forward. With an extra striker in support up front this week there was more emphasis on attacking play, but it was Loughor who seemed more likely to score before half time.

In the second half Llan reverted back to their usual 4-5-1 in a bid for push the wingers forward in support of Lloyd up front. However like in the first half Llan spent most of their time defending as Lloyd was left isolated up. Loughor put Llan under a lot of pressure, but a very good defensive effort limited Loughor to clear cut opportunities, which saw Llan keep their first clean sheet of the season - owed greatly to a brilliant performance from Bradley at the heart of the defence.

Llan's best chance of snatching a goal was from set pieces. Bradley came the closest from a Jack corner with a shot on the turn which went wide. Can't fault the effort once again from all ,and good positives to take from a below par performance with the clean sheet. Cup match up next!
