After a lengthy absence of no football this friendly fixture was a welcome run out for both sides as the 15's emerged comfortable 4-0 winners. From the outset they were in control, showing great composure in possession and a more precise passing game. The opener arrived from an unlikely source, Llan's defensive midfielder Jordan Frampton. Corrie Jenkins' outswinging corner was greeted with Frampton's looping header that beat goalkeeper and defender at the far post. Minutes later Frampton surprisingly struck again in almost identical fashion, again nodding in from Jenkins' corner, this time squeezing the ball through a crowd of players.

The second third saw seven changes but no let up in play for the 16's as they rarely got in possession. 15's continued to control the game, moving the ball well in all areas of the field resulting in several openings but unfortunately were wasted. Jack Evans threatened from distance on a couple of occasions but saw his best effort shovled away by the keeper. A third goal finally arrived as the 15's capitalised on their dominance when winger Zack got his first goal for the club after Jordan Saunders' testing ball had been failed to gather by goalkeeper with Zack following up and blasting the ball in.

Liam Green was involved in most good things Llan did as the midfielder provided the link between defence and attack, while Corrie Jenkins protected possession well up front. Llan also found a new outlet from both full backs as they attempted to get forward whenever possible. The final third left Llan frustrated as they didn't convert a flurry of chances, but credit to Mark in goals who made some fine saves. But Liam Williams completed the scoring when he fired across the keeper with a good finish after being released on the right side. An encouraging performance that needs to be taken into competitive matches.
