Fixture Changes

Sunday 16th January 2011

After this weekend's matches were washed out by the weather, the Carmarthenshire League have rescheduled most of our fixtures for Saturday 22 January.

In the junior section, the games which were meant to be played yesterday will now be played next weekend instead:

Tumble v Llan U12s (League)
Llan U13s v Pontlliw (Cup)
Llan U15s v Loughor (Cup)
Llan U16s v Ammanford (League)

And for the seniors, the 1sts will now be playing their Senior Cup Quarter Final, instead of their Challenge Cup Quarter Final:

Llan 1sts v Felinfoel (Senior Cup)
Burry Port A v Llan Reserves (League)

There was one game that went ahead in Division Two yesterday, but for reasons unknown, the match between Llan Rads and Llandeilo was abandoned after 75 minutes with the score at 2-2.

In Reserve Division Three, Llansteffan hammered Camford A 10-1 and are now two points behind Llan Reserves with two games in hand.  In the other game Swiss Valley drew 1-1 with Burry Port A.

Meanwhile in the Senior Cup yesterday, Premier League champions Seaside made it through to the quarter finals after they beat Camford 5-1.  Also through are Evans & Williams who scraped past Drefach on penalties.  That means the quarter final line-up is:

Seaside v Wellfield
Pengelli v Penyfan/Trostre
Evans & Williams v Loughor/West End United
Llangennech v Felinfoel

In the Challenge Cup, only one match survived the weather - Wellfield beating Carmarthen Wanderers to reach the quarters:

Bancffosfelin/Killay v Penyfan United/Garden Village
Felinfoel v Wellfield
Llangennech v West End United
Penllergaer/Tumble United v Caerbryn/Trostre Sports
