Loughor 2 Under 12's 2

Saturday 12th March 2011

The Under 12's came away from Loughor with their first point of the season after a determined display.

With a full squad available for the first time this season, Llan were able to name two substitutes and all 13 players gave it their all.  The team kept their shape superbly and looked a threat every time they attacked.

Liam Fry scored both of Llan's goals after excellent hold up play by the lone striker Dylan Nicholas-Clark.  Llan took the lead on 20 minutes before Loughor equalised by half time.

Fry's second goal put Llan back in the lead five minutes after the restart and it remained that way until ten minutes from the end when Loughor scored after a controversial penalty award.

Both teams pressed for the winner and Dafydd Williams went centimetres wide with his effort.  Loughor were then awarded another penalty for a foul tackle with five minutes remaining.  Morgan Phillips was Llan's hero though with a full stretch save to keep the spot kick out.

Well done to all the boys for such a determined performance!
