Kidwelly 2-5 Llan
Llan will face Teigrod Teilo in the cup final at Stebonheath after a semi final victory in Burry Port. Llan began the match with a high tempo and good aggression which saw them take a deserved lead after twenty five minutes. Corrie Morris shielded the ball in the penalty area and Jack Evans raced onto it to smash low into the corner.
Though Kidwelly had a very good ten minute spell at the start of the second half where Jordan Saunders was called upon in the Llan goal. Kidwelly were then level after a corner reached the edge of the box which a midfielder fired a shot through a crowd of players but Saunders saved, only for the rebound to be scored. The game was in the balance at this stage with both sides competing well. Llan regained the lead as Jack Evans scored his second goal with a deft chip from inside the area. Evans did well to read the bounce and take a touch before lobbing the goalkeeper.
Moments later Daf Green up from a corner attacked the ball superbly to beat the keeper to the ball and score Llan's third. Llan were hungry for more and the performance of Jordan Frampton was key in the holding role in winning possession back for his team. The result was put beyond doubt when Bradley Hillier curled a free kick into the area where Jack Evans completed a fantastic hat trick by guiding the ball into the bottom corner from tweleve yards.
There was better to come when subtitute Hachha Rai used his pace to reach Jordan Saunders' pass and cooly finish at the near post. Kidwelly battled on until the end and won a penalty as Bradley Hillier made a foul on the right side. Saunders almost kept it out but the penalty had enough power to make it 2-5 in the final minute. A superb performance and a deserved win to take Llan to Stebbo!
