Llangennech 4 Camford 1

Monday 18th April 2011

In good conditions, Camford came to Llangennech park after beating Kidwelly on the weekend to move them into second place.

The first half saw open football played with both sides creating chances on goal, Llangenench's defence however stood strong with Aaron Davies in the playing in the centre strongly winning  the ball  time and again to turn defence into attack and set Llangennech going forward. One such attack lead to inform striker Tom Roberts continue his scoring record with a good finish for Llangennech to go 1-0 up. Camford however looked dangerous coming forward and were awarded a penalty after Josh Broadhurst accidentently handled the ball in the box. The resulting penalty shot however was struck wide of the post as goalie Cai Morris-Daniels stood his ground. Camford did score an equaliser 5 minutes later, after a delicate chip was struck over Cai's head following a scramble in Llangennechs penalty box.
